Arthur Hnatek Trio

The double-bass accentuates the angular riffs and breaks, whilst unshakeable saxophone solos soar over improvised passages. The compositions of Arthur Hnatek, the drummer from Geneva, show that there is also Jazz somewhere between Metal, Ambient-Electro and Breakbeat. The trio - with the highly talented Fabien Iannone and Francesco Geminiani – won the ZKB Jazz Prize in 2019 and in 2021 released its debut album, «Static». Hnatek, known as a sideman for musicians such as Tigran Hamasyan and Erik Truffaz, here proves once again, that he is also an exceptionally gifted bandleader.
