From September 24 to 28, the ZKB Jazzpreis Festival took place at Moods, where the competition for the most highly endowed prize for young Swiss jazz musicians took place. The competition was won by the Bernese collective ARBRE . The Lausanne quartet Knobil came in second and the audience prize went to the Filippo Valli Quartet from Ticino.

On Thursday evening, September 28, the final of the ZKB Jazzpreis Festival took place at Moods. With a courageous performance, the Bernese collective ARBRE managed to take the audience and the jury on a gripping journey and secure the first place.
The second-placed band Knobil from Lausanne impressed with independent compositions with surprising twists. The ZKB Audience Award went to the Filippo Valli Quartet from Ticino, giving them a chance to perform at Moods next year.
In addition to the three winning bands, OKWOK, Momotrope and Arthur Donnot Group were also nominated for the Young Talent Award. All concerts can be streamed for free on the Moods Website.
