Lola's concert tips in November

The season has changed, the concert season is in full swing – the leaves are falling, the wind is blowing and the fresh November programme is ready. A wild month awaits us, I tell you. Here are my personal highlights:

02.11. Fulu Miziki– Hypnotic rhythms and pure energy
If you fancy an untamed, powerful musical journey, then you can't miss Fulu Miziki – their rhythms are hypnotic, their costumes extravagant. I love rhythm-driven music. It makes me throw my arms in the air and move my feet wildly. This is exactly the experience I expect from Fulu Miziki: leaving everyday life behind me by dancing.
11.11. Mammal Hands – Delicate, inviting and dreamy
My Spotify algorithm keeps suggesting «Kandaiki» by Mammal Hands to me and every time I hear this track, I'm delighted. The gentle, soft and almost hypnotic melodies of this trio create a dreamlike atmosphere that you can simply lose yourself in. I think the concert will be a quiet, intense experience that will stay with you for a long time.

12.11. Bruno Spoerri – Experimental soundscapes

Bruno Spoerri is a legend of the experimental jazz scene, masterfully combining acoustic and electronic sounds. His music redefines the boundaries of jazz – accessible and yet surprising. I find his sound both fascinating and inspiring, a transformative experience. This concert will undoubtedly offer a unique experience.

16.11. Tromboranga Orchestra – Salsa for the soul

As a half-Mexican, I must of course emphasise the salsa band of the month! I sincerely hope that many Latinos y Latinas (or passionate dancers) will come and shake a leg and turn Moods into a bubbling salsa club. In Latin American cultures, this music is danced to, not just watched! So come along and dance with me! I'm already practising hard because, to be honest, I can hardly dance salsa.

17.11. Osomo – Dreaming and losing yourself

I love ambient music. There's nothing better than losing yourself in soundscapes, closing your eyes and immersing yourself in another world. Osomo promises a transformative experience that will be less of a concert and more of a meditative journey. I'm looking forward to simply drifting away and escaping everyday life for a moment.
29.11. Orchestre Tout Puissant Marcel Duchamp – a somewhat unwieldy name but incredible music
This Swiss act is an absolute recommendation and still a bit of an insider tip. The Orchestre Tout Puissant Marcel Duchamp has created something unique: A mixture of unusual instruments, exciting rhythms and musical structures that fascinate and surprise. For me, they are one of those bands that your favourite band cites as a source of inspiration.
And not to forget: Ayyuka. With hard bass and psychedelic guitar riffs, they transport you into a world of sound that is both powerful and hypnotic. An absolute must for anyone who wants to immerse themselves in other musical spheres.
November promises a lot of variety - I hope you'll join me on this musical journey of discovery and dance with me through the month.
