The second collaboration between jazz pianist Bugge Wesseltoft and techno producer Henrik Schwarz is a unique synthesis of pop, electronica and chamber music. Duo II" features guests from the Berlin music scene and mixes live and sampled performances, with Wesseltoft often heard on synthesizer. The album showcases the duo's versatility with catchy synth motifs and polyphonic avant-garde melodies. The eight songs are a mix of genres, including neoclassical, pop and dubby electronica, and the album was recorded with natural acoustics in a Berlin church.
