Ambient, post-rock and beat-heavy jazz from Norway's most exciting guitarist: Eivind Aarset is known for filtering and alienating his instrument beyond recognition. His debut album "Electronique Noire" was hailed by the New York Times as "... one of the best electric jazz albums after Miles Davis". On his new album "Phantasmagoria or A Different Kind of Journey" (Jazzland Rec. VÖ Sept 2021), the musician, born in 1961, takes the audience on a journey into his own consciousness, which ends at the Japanese Buddhist river of the underworld, the Sanzu River.
