Jimi Tenor und Kalle Kalima musizieren bereits seit zehn Jahren gemeinsam. In ihrer Band Tenors of Kalma haben sie sich mit Schlagzeuger Joonas Riippa zusammengetan und kreieren «elektropsychedelischen Jazztrance». Die Musik der Finnen ist tiefgehend und jazzig, tanzbare Titel wechseln sich mit bewegenden Balladen ab. Die Kombination aus elektronischer Popmusik und Jazz schafft düster-spirituell swingenden Sound mit wunderbaren Grooves, die klingen, als träfe Sun Ra auf Kraftwerk.
