Maria João & Léo Tardin «Songing»

The Portugese vocal acrobat Maria João meets up with the Swiss pianist and Pianoramax bandleader Léo Tardin. The result is a freely improvised dialogue between piano and song, based on pieces by Brasilian composers and from Tardin’s solo project. As the project name „Songing“ suggests, there is however also room for more traditional interpretations of the melodies - always executed with much expression, emotion and creativity.
