Hadouk

The Hadouk* Trio moves up a gear: as a quartet, the Nomadic Jazz with the hybrid instruments and the highly-talented musicians now gains more power. The multi-faceted music offers a jazzy blend of Oriental, African and European sounds and combines different style influences, from the Caucasus via the jazz sound of the Fusion era and on to the mystical Gnawa-Beat «à la marocaine». This direction developed from the rich cultural treasure trove of experience of the musicians involved, that over some time moved and lived in various musical and cultural circles.

* The band name Hadouk was not chosen without purpose, because the HAjouj and the douDOUK are two instruments played by the founding members of the band.
