Hypnotic Brass Ensemble

Full horn passages and crisp riffs, mixed up with a Hip-Hop-Beat: that's the Hypnotic Brass Ensemble. Thanks to their father, Kelan Phil Cohran (Earth, Wind & Fire, Sun Ra), the seven brothers clearly have the music and rhythm in their blood. In their interplay, the trumpet and trombone sections complement each other seamlessly and develope catchy melodies, always supported by a steady tuba bass line. In the past, the band has played with diverse artistes such as Erykah Badou, Snoop Dogg, Prince and Damon Albarn (Gorillaz), and their new album «Bad Boys of Jazz» is currently being put together. The boys deliver an energetic live-show with rap passages and call-and-response interaction, which gets both musicians and audience alike dancing and sweating.
