Bernhoft

Norwegian, soul singer, Grammy-nominated: three terms that as such do not normally appear together in front of a name – apart from in the case of Jarle Bernhoft. The exceptional performer and multi-instrumentalist from the Far North fascinates us with his exceptionally gifted, multi-faceted soul voice. In 2008 Bernhoft released his debut album and rapidly acquired the reputation as a superb live performer. In 2011 there followed the second album «Solidarity Breaks» with the song «C’mon Talk», the video to which generated almost 10 million YouTube clicks. Following two further EP’s, Bernhoft is now pottering about with his new album «Humanoid». One can look forward to the related tour, because when Bernhoft stands on stage, mixes up the genres, stacks up the sounds and voices, the various instruments just fly straight through his hands. When he appears, now accompanied by his band, it will surely be a great concert experience!
