Psychedelic Music Explosion – Moods & jazzhane present

Afterparty mit DJ Ipek

DJ İpek a.k.a. İpek İpekçioğlu lives between Berlin and Istanbul, is highly successful as an international producer, curator and DJ and is highly-involved in the queer scene. Inspired by bicultural socialisation and influences, with Eklektik Berlinİstan Ipek has developed a style that stands for unique and hybrid soundmixes: psychedelic Turkish Funk meets up with Disco, Balkan Folk with House, Kurdish Halay with Electro, Turkish Tango with Break Beat, Bhangra with Moombahton, Albanian Pop with Twerk, Iranian Folk with Techno and Anatolian Folk songs with Deep-House.
Euphorical encounters and boundary-breaking on the dancefloor are guaranteed – totally without ID check and integration test. In the process, İpek enjoys playing with musical cliches and in addition impresses us with unknown insiders. For more than 20 years İpek has been the resident DJ at Gayhane -QueerOriental Dancefloor in Berlin SO36.
