Experiencing music together is the focus of the family concert series at Moods. There are no songs for children, but rather interactive concerts that invite you to dance and marvel. In a relaxed and happy atmosphere, families have the opportunity to explore the colourful world of musical styles together and let themselves be infected by the enthusiasm.

MORE ABOUT THE BAND
Before their album release concert on Thursday 23 November, Fendika will play a family concert with a little linguistic help from Jeroen Visser. Melaku Belay is one of Ethiopia's most renowned dancers. He has an immense knowledge of traditional dance forms from the different regions of Ethiopia and knows how to combine them with modern elements (which earned him the nickname "Walking Earthquake"). He is also the founder of the Fendika Cultural Centre and a member of the house band of the same name. Every month he organises a family day at his cultural centre, where people can make music, paint and even learn English or practice maths. With the help of fellow dancer Emebet Woldetsdik and the Fendika band, he will demonstrate some of the popular dances of Ethiopia. Singer Nardos Tesfaw, who may be familiar to some from her appearance in Heidi Specogna's documentary Stand up my Beauty, will take turns performing songs with her captivating voice.

Children of all ages are welcome. Children under the age of 12 will be admitted free of charge, but we ask that you reserve a free ticket in the system.

For all other guests, there are different prices to choose from, ranging from CHF 10 to CHF 40, depending on your budget.
