As the daughter of the Japanese pianist Michiko and the R&B bassist and producer Robert "Peewee" Hill, the singer and multi-instrumentalist Judith Hill grew up in a musical household. When she sang his ballad "Heal the World" at Michael Jackson's funeral service, she suddenly became known to an international audience. Her debut album (2015) was then produced by none other than Prince and soul and pop giant Stevie Wonder also brought her to his side for recordings. With her latest record, Baby, I'm Hollywood, she ruminates on pleasure, pain, celebration and consequences, all of which are incorporated into her collection of finely crafted stories in song. A wonderful autobiographical journey through the music she loves most: from funk, soul, R'n'B to quiet jazz ballads.
