Adrian Younge is a visionary multi-instrumentalist, an Emmy Award-winning composer, and an advocate of analogue art. At his fully analogue studio, Linear Labs, in Los Angeles, he creates haunting works that bridge the gap between past and present. Adrian Younge is known for his groundbreaking album Something About April, which was sampled by Jay-Z, among others.

He is now coming to Moods with the sequel, Something About April III, an album that he says is a dream come true: "This is what I wanted to do when I created the first album in 2011. However, I lacked the musical knowledge and experience to create the sound buried deep in my soul."

He is fascinated by Brazilian music, a genre he discovered late but has since become immersed in. This is clearly evident on his album São Paulo and is also reflected in Something About April III. Composed entirely in Portuguese, he manages to redefine music while preserving the analogue humanity in a digital world, achieving incomparable depth and authenticity.
